Written by Tom Stoppard and directed by Claire Gleitman, the play is set at Sidley Park in Derbyshire, England during the early nineteenth century and the present day. Arcadia explores the themes of emotion versus intellect, the mystery of sex and the path of knowledge. This event is free and open to the public. This specialized training is for those that would like to volunteer during the rebuilding efforts that continue after Hurricane Katrina and also for any future response to a disaster in this community and elsewhere.
