Career Services regrets to inform the community that the StartingBloc Institute for Social Innovation has informed us that they will be unable to visit campus this evening (November 10). It is their intention to try to reschedule their visit for later in the semester. Please check Intercom or eRecruiting for future announcements.

Career Services regrets to inform the community that The Hartford will be unable to visit campus on November 16 and 17. It is their intention to reschedule their visit for the Spring semester and will be in contact with candidates who applied for interview opportunities on the 17th.

The Contemporary Chamber Ensemble under the direction of Jeffrey Grogan will present a free concert on Thursday, November 17 at 8:15 p.m. in Ford Hall. Graduate conductors Benjamin Aneff and Devin Hughes will lead works of Takamitsu and Theofanidis. Karel Husa's woodwind quintet "Cayuga Lake" will also be performed.

Barney Beins participated in two symposia at the 2005 convention of the American Psychological Association in Washington, DC this past August.

The American Red Cross at Ithaca College is working with the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) to host a marrow registry drive on Tuesday, November 15 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Campus Center conference room. This is a very special opportunity as we have received a grant to cover the $60 fee that is usually attached to entering the registry.

Prof. Rogers was awarded $2,874 to conduct magnetic surveys, in support of cultural resource management investigations. Along with physics student Kevin Faehndrich, they conducted surveys at an historic farmstead near Troy, NY. An archaeology team is currently using the IC team's recommendations to guide the excavations and shovel testing.
