On Thursday, March 21st, the College will be holding its 29th Educational Technology Day.  This exciting event attracts hundreds of visitors to our campus to explore new technologies and learn how technology can be used in and out of the classroom.  We are asking that students, staff, and faculty please be aware of the parking impact of Ed Tech Day on both the event date and the preceding Wednesday, as described below.  Campus community members should also consider alternate transportation arrangements such as carpooling, drop-offs, and use of public transportation.

How will we meet the complex challenges of the 21st century? We will need to find ways to combine insights and ideas from many fields of study and to use them creatively. What is 3 Day Startup? (3daystartup.org)

3DS is an opportunity to teach students how to start companies through self directed learning. Over the 3 day event, 45-50 participants will be selected to come up with ideas and form teams to develop their own startup company. Throughout the process, mentors will be able to help guide the team’s progress and help them create a polished final pitch to panelists. For 9 years, over 350 programs at over 150 schools have been launched to create a network of over 12,000 3DS alumni.
