The American Film Showcase, a special project of the US State Department, has reappointed Patricia R. Zimmermann, professor of Screen Studies and codirector of the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival (FLEFF), as a documentary and new media expert for their film envoy program.

The 72nd Eastern Colleges Science Conference was held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Ithaca College. The conference drew more than 370 faculty and undergraduate students from 18 colleges and universities across the eastern U.S. Students presented their own empirical research in social and natural sciences, including biology, chemistry, biochemistry, environmental sciences, psychology, physics and engineering.

As a long time advocate for mentored inquiry at the College, Bob is especially pleased that two IC students (Julia Becker '14 and Emily Gallik '15) are given credit as editorial assistants, both in the table of contents and on the title pages of two of the texts.
