OSEMA's Alternative Breaks program will give you the chance to gain personal and professional growth through direct volunteer experience, place-based learning, andteamwork. You can apply to lead a trip, as well!

Students can travel to Detroit, Pittsburgh, Washington DC, Virginia, or the Outer Banks to engage in a variety of meaningful volunteer experiences!

This year, ASB will take place from March 10th - March 17th, 2018. To learn more about this unique opportunity, check out the ASB website!

Students must apply for ASB by 11:59pm on December 1 in order to guarantee that their application will be reviewed. All applications received after this deadline will be read on a rolling basis until the program is full.

IC Circle K will be hosting their annual fundraiser with One World Market, located on the Ithaca Commons, next week from December 4 - December 6 in the North Foyer of Campus Center! One World Market seeks to sell handmade, fair trade items made by artisans from around the world. By selling goods "fair trade," One World Market assures that the artisans receive fair payment for their time, energy, and skill. OWM will be selling a variety of fair-trade goods on campus, including scarves, gloves, hats, and jewelry, with a portion of the profits benefiting the mission of IC Circle K.

So, gear up for another Ithaca winter with an array of winter clothes! And don't forget - these items make excellent gifts for friends and family! The sale will take place in the North Foyer of Campus Center on December 4, 5, and 6, from 9-3 each day.

Final exams are scheduled to be administered beginning Monday, December 18th through Friday, December 22nd at 10pm. 

 

Given that Winter Break will begin Saturday, December 23rd, we are respectfully requesting that faculty (or appointed designee) pick up Friday’s (Dec. 22nd) proctored exams no later than 9pm, directly from SAS  (100 Rothschild Place).  You may call our office 607-274-1005 to confirm that your exams are ready for you to pick-up. 

 

Monday through Thursday of Finals Week (December 18 – 21), SAS will follow the regular process of returning final exams to the respective Dean's offices the following business day.  Picking up finals from SAS will only be necessary on Friday, December 22nd.

 

 

We certainly appreciate your partnership in this process.  If you have questions or concerns, please contact Leslie Reid, manager of SAS prior to final exams.
