On Friday, July 14th, the fix IT Shop will open at 11:30 am and will close at 3:00 pm. On Monday, July 17th, the fix IT shop will be closed from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, July 18th.

Chase and J.P. Morgan takes the threat of fraud very seriously and devotes numerous resources towards prevention. There are ongoing attempts by "fraudsters" to takeover accounts with limited cardholder information. As a result of the increase in this type of activity, J.P. Morgan Chase has put in place an authentication process for certain types of high risk requests to a cardholder's commercial card account. The banking industry is moving toward similar methods of authentication to make sure customer service representatives (CSRs) are speaking with the actual cardholder.

Our new students will arrive on Sunday, August 27, 2017.

Upper class students who volunteer to assist will be able to move in to their on-campus housing the day before (Saturday, August 26, 2017), and will be required to attend a training session that evening from 7:30 – 8:15 pm.  Your meal plan will begin at lunch on Sunday.

The National Labor Relations Board indicated to Ithaca College in June that due to lack of merit, it would be dismissing an unfair labor practice charge filed against the college by the union representing contingent faculty. Shortly thereafter, the college was informed by the NLRB that SEIU Local 200United had decided to withdraw the charge rather than proceed to the formal dismissal decision.

Lights, camera, action!

On September 30, 2017 OSEMA is hosting the 3rd Annual Student Organization Conference, “Become A Star.” The purpose of this event is to allow student organizations to develop new skills and prepare them for success. The conference is a great opportunity for both new and returning student organization officers and general body members to learn policies and procedures and develop their leadership qualities.

However, in order for the conference to be a success we need your help. We are looking for students to present on various topics including, planning events, managing finances and developing leadership skills. Do you or your student organization have any secrets to success? If yes, please consider sharing a behind the scenes look into what you do to make your student organization a star by submitting a presentation proposal.

The deadline to submit is July 10.
