Ithaca Athletics is having another promotion planned for the November 5th football game against Buffalo State. The promotion is called Club Day, where all clubs and organizations are invited to come to the game, receive PA recognition, table and have a chance to enter a raffle to win gift cards to Texas Roadhouse. Performances will be held in the Hoerner Theatre in Dillingham Center on Oct. 25, 27, 28 and 29, Nov. 2, 3, 4 and 5 at 8 p.m., and on Oct. 30 and Nov. 5 at 2 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at the Ithaca College box office in Dillingham Center or online at Ithaca.ticketforce.com. Asma Barlas publishes lead essay on Feminism and Islam in Journal of Feminist Studies in ReligionContributed by Peyi Soyinka-Airewele on 10/17/16 Asma Barlas, professor of Politics, has published the lead essay for a round table on Feminism and Islam in the current Journal of Feminist Studies in Religion (Fall, 2016). The essay, "Secular and Feminist Critiques of the Qur'an: Anti-hermeneutics as Liberation?" has six respondents with a short rejoinder from Barlas.
