New Ithaca College Coordinator for the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR)Contributed by MaryAnn Taylor on 10/04/16 Submitted on Behalf of Provost Petrosino: It is with great pleasure that I introduce the new Ithaca College NCUR Coordinator, Dr. James Pfrehm from the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures. He will be replacing Dr. Robert Sullivan who has ably chaperoned and assisted with NCUR coordination for the past few years. “I am excited to work with these bright students and watch them grow as professionals and academics” said Dr. Pfrehm. As part of Ithaca College’s commitment to undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity, support will be provided for approximately 50 student scholars at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) to be held April 5-8, 2017 at the University of Memphis, Tennessee.

As a student organizer, Cedrick focused on educating administrators about the experiences of marginalized students on campus, and helping students present policy demands to create a more inclusive college.
