On Friday, April 15, the Ithaca College Student United Way will be holding their annual Family Carnival from 5pm-8pm in the IC Fitness Center lower gyms. The carnival will include a bounce houses, food, raffles, crafts and various activities.

The admission is $3 per child and $5 per adult and $16 total for parties of 5 or more.

The money raised is used to create small grants that support a variety of local community organizations. Funds have been used to assist many organizations over the past seven years, including Ithaca Health Alliance, Greater Ithaca Activities Center, and Ithaca Children's Garden.

This month's Service Saturday Event will be held on April 16th. Since it's our last Service Saturday of the year, join us for Volunteer appreciation day! All participants will get FREE breakfast and a FREE t-shirt! Hot breakfast will be served in the Pub at 9am on the 16th.

We will be visiting sites including the Youth Farm Project, South Hill (Spring Clean Up), the Tompkins County Library, and the Brooktondale Community Center. Come out for a great day of giving back to the IC Community!

ICIC 13000 Creativity: Transforming Insights into Ideas

Where do great ideas come from? Can we become better at generating them? A series of significant challenges are posed, and a rich variety of creativity techniques and principles are introduced to meet them. Creativity skills that will apply in many contexts are developed. Join the IC Asian American Alliance and the Ithaca Pan Asian American Film Festival April 15-17. Volunteers are needed for helping set-up, managing the welcome table, selling t-shirts and raffle tickets, providing guests with directions, working Asia Night, and helping clean-up.

On Thursday, May 5th join Rochester-based Holocaust survivor Helen Levinson and other Ithaca-based Holocaust survivors for a candle lighting ceremony, Ithaca Children's Choir performance, and the chance to hear her story. A reception will follow the presentation.
