Chef Liliia Shkileva is an Executive Chef at State Moscow University and will cook on Ithaca College's Campus on Monday, October 19th and Tuesday, October 20th! During her visit, Chef Shkileva will prepare classic dishes from Russia and will provide active demonstrations of meal preparation for guests.  This will provide ample opportunity to interact with Chef Shkileva and experience firsthand the cultural and educational benefits of her visit.

Debbie Martin, Professor of Piano and Chair of Performance Studies, and Laura Amoriello, Assistant Professor of Piano, co-presented "What's App? Cool Apps for Every Music Teacher" at the New York State Music Teachers Association Conference on October 10, 2015 at the College of St. Rose in Albany, NY.

Debbie and Laura's research spanned apps for music students of all ages, with emphasis on sight-reading and rhythm. In particular, they explored practical uses of the apps in the music lesson, for both independent and classroom music teachers.
