Ithaca College’s 25th annual Educational Technology Day will be held this Thursday, March 19th, from 9 AM to 4 PM in the Campus Center Emerson Suites and surrounding locations.  The event features a vendor showcase with national and local technology companies, a college showcase with faculty and staff showing how they are using technology in and out of the classroom, and a series of seminars by IT thought-leaders, faculty, vendors and others.  The event is free and open to the public, including all faculty, staff and students.

Ithaca College Theatre will present a dance concert featuring three pieces of original choreography by Department of Theatre Arts faculty members Lindsay Gilmour, Roy Lightner and Amy Walker O’Brien. We are looking for infants who are 5 month old, weighing less than 30 lbs., have not yet started to crawl on hands and knees and are developing typically.  Your child can help us in our work to study the effect of using (or not) a robot to move around and play with toys on cognitive development. Our long-term goal is to assist infants with disabilities explore their environment in ways that would otherwise be unavailable to them. Your infant will be randomly assigned to either group a) using the robot, or group b) not using the robot; in both groups, infants will play with toys for 12 sessions over no more than 8 weeks. Each play session will be 20 minutes long and will take place in Williams Hall on the Ithaca College campus.

Sticking around for the summer? Why not stick some seeds into the ground? 

Claim a plot at the Circles Community Garden for the summer!

The Circles Community Garden is available for all Ithaca College community members.

There are 30 plots waiting to be claimed!  These will be doled out on a first-come-first-serve basis, so act quickly! (students may receive priority if we receive high volumes of requests) Basic supplies will be available at the front desk of the Circles Community Building weekly from 12 PM - 6 PM. 

Head to the front desk of the Circles Community Building to sign up! Look over the Working Agreement next to the sign-up to make sure that the commitment is right for you.
