Please join Ithaca College Books Thru Bars club on Monday, December 8, in Friends 207 at 7 p.m. for a special event with Keri Blakinger. Blankinger has rehabilitated back into the society after pledged guilty to heroin charge in December 2010 during her senior semester at Cornell University. All students, staff and faculty are invited to attend one of two hour-long update meetings scheduled for Thursday, December 4, to hear the latest updates on the Ithaca College master planning process.  Both sessions will be held in Emerson Suites, from 12:10 to 1:10 p.m. and from 2:35 to 3:35 p.m.

The Friends 110 computer lab is not open 24/7 during the break. Printing is available from the WebPrint Release Station during the hours an ITS consultant is not on duty. Further details regarding our computer lab hours can be found at www.ithaca.edu/its/services/labs/public/.

Friends 110, Williams 210, and the fixIT shop will resume regular hours on Monday, December 1.

IC Adoption Support and Awareness Alliance (ASAA) kicked off National Adoption Month by hosting event called Superheroes and Adoption. This event promoted discussion around many of famous superheroes who were adopted like Superman, Spiderman, Hercules and more. Congrats to ASAA on their successful event!

Two weeks ago, members of the Ithaca College community made more than 140 “Sunny Grams” at IC Project Sunshine’s first independent event. 

IC Project Sunshine is part of a national nonprofit organization that provides free education, recreational, and social programs to children facing medical challenges and their families. The local organization meets weekly to knit and crochet frequently requested items, such as hats, blankets, and booties, which are sent to the national organization and are then distributed to pediatric medical facilities.
