ITS has gotten several reports from Outlook users who have received one or more email messages indicating "Your meeting was found to be out of date and has been automatically updated". We believe this is somehow related to Apple iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch), though not all iOS users are reporting the problem.

Do you love sports and media?

Special Topics in Sports Journalism will be offered online during Winter session. We will teach game-story reporting, reviewing, column writing and announcing, plus current issues relevant to sports journalists. All are welcome.

On Thursday, October 30th, at 6:30 p.m. in the Handwerker Gallery, the On the Verge play-reading series will present a reading of Michael Frayn's 1998 play, COPENHAGEN, in honor of the 50th anniversary of the C.P. Snow lecture series at Ithaca College. COPENHAGEN, a brilliant and elegant brain-teaser of a play, concerns the controversial meeting between the physicists Niels Bohr and Werner Heisenberg in occupied Denmark in 1941.

 The off campus approval process for the 2015-2016 academic year will start on October 27th and will end on October 31st.  The only students who will be eligible to apply to live off campus are students who are in the process of completing their 3rd or 4th semester of college.  Please log onto HomerConnect to verify your completed semesters.  Please read the information below regarding your eligibility to live off campus.

What's a Microaggression?

Microaggressions. What are they exactly? How do I tackle them? Why do they matter?

If you're interested in diversity and social justice issues, you really want to learn more about this big term that people throw out, or you want to learn more about yourself and your place in this world, you should attend this session led by the Diversity Peer Educators!  This workshop is available for SLI credit for Block II, and participants will learn about why the "small things" matter when dealing with diversity. 

This workshop is being offered at the below dates/times: 

-Thursday, November 4 from 12:10-1:00 PM, Ithaca Falls Room 

and 

-Wednesday, November 12 from 7:00-8:00 PM, Taughannock Falls Room

"Fresh" is the word this year at our annual Food Frenzy event! Located in Emerson Suites from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm. A $3.00 donation gets you into the door and opens up a World of Food presented by our vendors. All proceeds go to The BackPack Program for The Food Bank of the Southern Tier, where only $3.00 will fill a BackPack with food for a child in need. IC Beatbox, a new student organization, is looking for an official adviser. Our mission is to teach the Ithaca College community the art of beatboxing.  Beatboxing is making percussion noises using only the mouth and throat muscles.
