Ithaca College Information Technology Services (ITS) has officially started an initiative to develop their strategic plan to be enacted over a five-year span. Under new leadership from Gerald Hector, Vice-President of Finance & Administration, and ITS Associate Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Keith "Mac" McIntosh, the group has engaged in several thoughtful discussions about the services we provide, and the ever-changing technological landscape that affects how we live, learn, and work at Ithaca College.

 We are looking for infants who are 5 month old, weighing less than 30 lbs., have not yet started to crawl on hands and knees and are developing typically.  Your child can help us in our work to study the effect of using (or not) a robot to move around and play with toys on cognitive development.

Is giving a speech not your bread and butter? Come join the Ithaca College chapter of Toastmasters.  At Toastmasters, we will help you learn the skills that can help you give a speech like a piece of cake (or Toast). 

We have a new meeting time, every other Wednesday and the first Monday of every month.  Our first Monday meeting is November 3 at 6 PM in the DeMott Conference Room. We invite faculty, staff, and students to join us!

A screening of the Swedish film adaptation of Stieg Larsson's bestselling novel THE GIRL WHO PLAYED WITH FIRE will take place Friday, September 24, 4 PM, Hill 104.

In conjunction with the class, The Politics of THE GIRL WITH DRAGON TATTOO, the event is free and open to the public.  Again revel in the exploits of Lisbeth Salander, accused of a horrific double-murder, as she confronts sex traffickers, a motorcycle gang, a blond giant, and corrupt officials in the Swedish government.
