CMA EDU is the Country Music Association’s college outreach and business development program. CMA EDU’s primary focus is to educate college students on career opportunities within the music and entertainment industries. Each semester CMA EDU invites industry professionals including artists as guest speakers to their respective campuses. Industry speakers share their insights into the field, discuss current industry trends and impart concrete advice on how to successful pursue and excel in a music business career. During the semester our members can participate in local field trips, skype with industry professionals, conduct projects created by CMA, and participate in volunteer opportunities all while building our network and gaining professional experience. Meetings will be once a month. Available officer positions are VP of Membership and VP of Finance. The Office of International Programs (OIP) would like to invite all administrators, faculty, and staff members to attend our upcoming workshops designed to assist in the development of short-term study abroad programs.
The Study Abroad Ice Cream Social will be held Monday, September 29, 6:00-7:00, in the Klingenstein Lounge, Campus Center. You will have the chance to hear from and ask questions of lots of IC students who have studied abroad in locations all across the globe, all while eating make-your-own sundaes!
Are you interested in studying abroad? IES (The Institute for the International Education of Students) is one of Ithaca College's current affiliated study abroad providers. An IES representative will be on campus this Thursday, September 18, 12:10-1:00, in Textor 101 to meet with students and provide further information about the IES study abroad options. A free pizza lunch will be provided!
