Are you involved with an IC organization focused on access to resources, sustainability, or human rights? Many groups on campus share similar goals and objectives in their mission statements, and the impact of their efforts multiple exponentially when cross-collaboration occurs. That's why Food for Thought is partnering with any and all organizations falling under these categories to create a combined calendar. Here, students, e-boards, and members of the community can see what's happening, when, where, and why. More importantly, we hope it will allow student orgs to take advantage of common ground and help one another with important initiatives.

 Focus Asia Month is only a week away and I know you all are just excited for it as we are!! But before that we have one more awesome g-body meeting planned, the long awaited second part of Asian Americans in Media: Television and Film! Associate Professor Jeff Holmes (Psychology) recently published an article entitled “Impression Management Pressures on Racial Attitude Surveys” in the Social Science Journal.  The article was published online this month and will appear in a forthcoming print edition of the journal.

The Department of Theatre Arts is offering a special Summer section of Directing I, an intensive introduction to the practice of directing for the stage. Students will learn basic skills and underlying principles through exercises, theatergoing, and directing short rudimentary scenes.  Directing I is a prerequisite for Directing II, being offered in Spring 2015.

IC Kicks Back Needs You!

Calling all volunteers for this year’s IC Kicks Back! We need a grand total of 30 volunteers to help with various jobs throughout the afternoon. Some jobs include:

-Maintaining lines for the inflatables and photo booths

-Checking IDs

-Taking photos of the event

A FREE IC Kicks Back T-shirt will be included!
