2019 W2’s Available Online

Current employees can now view and print their 2019 W-2 online in Parnassus. To access your W-2 online, log into Parnassus from apps.ithaca.edu, click on IC Employee Self-Service, and then click on Employee W-2. Paper W-2s will be mailed to the W-2 or Home Address on file with the Office of Human Resources.

Debate Team Shines in St. Louis

 After several debates against schools from across the country Ithaca College debater Callie Nguyen (21, IMC and Finance) claimed first place in the Junior Varity division defeating a debater from Lafayette College in the finals on a 2-1 decision.

Jenna Heffron, PhD, OTR/L (HSHP; Occupational Therapy) recently published a book chapter on peer mentoring and support to facilitate home and community participation for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). The chapter provides an overview of the history and theory of peer mentoring and support, an overview of a wide range of peer mentoring programs for adults with I/DD, a case example based on an intervention research project completed by Heffron and her co-authors, and concludes with implications for the OT profession as well as a discussion about how peer mentoring and support can occur informally and outside of traditional rehabilitation/social service settings.

On Sunday, February 2nd at 3:00 PM in the Presser Room of Whalen Center a panel discussion featuring three notable authors Eva Fogelman, Roald Hoffmann and Dan Schwarz will explore why some individuals in the midst of the Holocaust were compelled to risk their lives to defend and protect their neighbors. The panel will also examine what role conscience and moral courage play in confronting hate today. The discussion will be followed by a Q&A session and a reception.
