(203 words) Josh Bonnetta to serve as a Composer-in-Residence at Visby International CentreContributed by Melissa Gattine on 10/11/12 Joshua Bonnetta, assistant professor in the Department of Media Arts, Sciences and Studies, has been invited for a second term to serve as a Composer-in-Residence in Electroacoustic Studio ALPHA at the Visby International Centre for Composers in Sweden from December 21, 2012 until January 18, 2013. The Visby International Centre for Composers (VICC) – on the Island of Gotland in the Baltic Sea – is a working and meeting place for composers, dedicated to promoting contemporary music through residencies, concerts, conferences, seminars, educational and co-operation projects – the only specialized centre of its kind within the International Society of Contemporary Music (ISCM), of which VICC is a member.
