Textor Circle will be closed from Grant Egbert Boulevard to O-Lot on Thursday, July 19th from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  During this time drainage pipe will be installed in the roadway in both directions.

The remainder of Textor Circle and Campus Center Way can be accessed from O-Lot, north of the Roy H. Park School of Communications.

Jazz Studies director Mike Titlebaum recently completed the recording of eight of his arrangements and original compositions for large jazz ensemble. 

Part of the goal of the project was to collaborate between Ithaca College and the Eastman School of Music.  To that end, the group was comprised of a combination of faculty, students and alumni of Ithaca and Eastman.  Ithaca faculty included Titlebaum on saxophone, bass professor Nicholas Walker, and drum set instructor Greg Evans.  Ithaca alumni included clarinetist Emily Pecoraro (B. MUED '12) and saxophonist Jason Juliano (B. MUED '12).  Several Eastman faculty members, students and alumni were also in the ensemble.

Two publications from Mike Haaf's lab have recently been published.  Each paper lists several IC students as coauthors, including Jonathan Shares (`07), Amanda Kowalsick (`08), Jenna Yehl (`08), Philip Byers (08`), Samantha Cary (`12), Steven Hubbard (`12), Alex Levine (`10) and Joshua Roaf (`10).

Jan Bastian worked in the Technical Services department of the Ithaca College Library for almost 24 years, retiring in May 2007. She passed away Monday afternoon, July 9, in Horseheads, NY.  She was 66.
