Yankees trip is canceled.

Due to lack of interest we have cancelled the bus trip for Sept. 1 to Yankees Stadium.

Wendy Dann, Assistant Professor of Directing in Theatre Arts, was named a 2012 finalist for the National Playwrights Conference at the O'Neill Theatre Center for her play, The Strangest Thing.

Paul Hamill, who retired from the college as director of academic funding and sponsored programs in 2010, recently delivered two addresses to academic conferences in Romania, where he is a Senior Fulbright Fellow.

 ITS has identified three finalists for the Coordinator of Digital Media position (formerly held by Mark Hine.)  Each candidate has been asked to develop a presentation for the campus community that demonstrates their knowledge, skills and expertise as well as instructional support philosophy. This is a reminder that the annual campus electrical shutdown is scheduled for Saturday, June 2, 2012 from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

It is the advice of Information Technology services to turn off and unplug all computers and printers prior to the shutdown. 

As always, the Office of Facilities will be on duty during and after the interruptions to ensure all systems resume their normal function.  Please feel free to call 274-3225 if you have any questions or concerns.

Mac’s General Store will close at 1:00pm on Thursday May 24th for the Campus Carnival. The store will remain closed for the rest of the afternoon and will also be closed on Friday May 25th to conduct year-end inventory. Mac’s will reopen at 8:30am on Tuesday May 29th.

Margaret Arnold, Ph.D., Associate Dean for the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance, is lead author of a textbook entitled "Human Resource Management in Recreation, Sport, and Leisure Services".

Mary Tomaselli, Director of Employee and Organizational Development, Office of Human Resources, is credited for contributing a chapter on Training and Development.

This is a reminder about the recent Intercom notice that access to student personal folders on Nova ("G" drive) will expire on June 1st. ITS recommends that students move their Nova files to a flash drive or to one of the free online services before leaving campus for the summer, as it is much easier to access Nova from an on-campus computer.
