"Chocolate in the Chapel" - A Reception for all lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) students - Wednesday October 5, 4-6pm in Muller Chapel.
October is Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) History Month. Each day throughout the month a video highlighting a different historical figure will be available for viewing in a special section of the LGBT Center Website:

On October 1, 2011, Professor of Music Kim Dunnick begins a two-year term as President of the International Trumpet Guild. The ITG is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1975 to promote communication among trumpeters and to improve the artistic level of performance, teaching and literature of the trumpet.
A documentary that examines how homophobia in women’s collegiate sports can collude in the destruction of the lives and dreams of many of its most talented athletes will be the next selection in the Out of the Closet and Onto the Screen film series at Ithaca College. “Training Rules” will be shown on Wednesday, Oct. 5, at 7 p.m. in Textor 103. It is free and open to the public.
