Whether a form of praise or criticism, the label simply reduces down the entire Asian American population to a simple generalization. The Office of International Programs (OIP) would like to invite all faculty and staff members to attend a workshop designed to assist in the development of short-term study abroad programs.  Short-term study abroad programming is an important component of the overseas study options available to Ithaca College students. College faculty and staff members have successfully lead programs over the past several years to a number of different locations, including most recently Belize, China, England, India, Italy, Malawi, and Scotland.

Faculty Council recently voted to establish a Committee for College-wide Requirements (CCR) to have responsibility for reviewing any proposed College-wide requirements (e.g., a general education requirement) and curricular issues related to such a requirement.

As previously announced, all SPSS network license users must upgrade to SPSS 19 by October 1, 2011. To request an upgrade, fill out this form. If you do not request an upgrade then networked copies of SPSS 18 will stop working. Individuals and departments who have purchased their own copies of SPSS (not from ITS) will not be affected by this change.

Each year we traditionally celebrate and honor the accomplishments of our December graduates on the Sunday prior to final exams. Due to the final exam schedule beginning on Sunday this year, we have had to change the date of the reception to the Saturday prior to final exams.

This is a reminder that timecards for student employees for the pay period September 12 through September 25 must be submitted and approved by noon on Tuesday September 27 for payment on Friday, September 30. Any timecards approved after this time will be paid in the next payroll on October 14.

Ithaca College’s Medical Amnesty Policy (IC MAP) encourages students to seek medical assistance related to alcohol and/or drug overdose, since these conditions can be fatal. With IC MAP, students can seek assistance for their friends or themselves if a medical emergency arises involving the use of alcohol and drugs without worrying about college judicial consequences.
