Recreational Sports organizes several golf outings throughout the summer?  All you have to do is sign up via email with Kathy or stop in and see me between 8-3:30pm at the Fitness Center.  Your family and friends can play in any of these golf outings.

ITS will begin the Oracle software upgrade to Parnassus Financials and Human Resources system and will be unavailable beginning on Wednesday, July 6th at 4:00pm. The software upgrade is expected to run through the weekend and should be available to the campus on Tuesday, July 12th.  Users will be notified when Parnassus is available.

Last November Ithaca College initiated a search for an official mascot to accompany our Bombers nickname. Our hope was to select a mascot that would reflect our institutional pride and personify the school spirit that connects us all. As this initiative began, I envisioned it concluding with a mascot that would bring additional life to student events around campus as well as leading the charge on the sidelines and in the stands at athletic contests.

Summer classes started on Monday, June 6th at the Fitness Center in the Aerobics Room. Come on over whenever you can make it.  All you have to do is sign in at the front desk.  You sign in for water aerobics at the Outdoor Pool.  The Aerobics classes are FREE. 

Pilates and Yoga are taught by professional instructors and do have a nominal fee.

ITHACA, N.Y. – Ithaca College finished in 19th place in the final standings for the Learfield Directors' Cup. The standings for the Directors’ Cup (formerly known as the Sears Cup) are determined by a school’s finish in NCAA playoff competition in selected sports. Ithaca, who placed 22nd in last year's standings, is one of eight schools to have placed in the top 30 in each of the award's first 16 years. With 449 schools in Division III (more than any other level of the NCAA), the Bombers’ performance ranks them ahead of 95.55 percent of the schools competing at the Division III level.

Canada Post informed us today that their suspension of service will last at least until some time next week as they await the Canadian government’s action on back-to-work legislation.   

As a result, effective 11:59 p.m. CDT Saturday, June 18, USPS® will stop accepting all mail destined for Canada, with the exception of Global Express Guaranteed (GXG) service.
Customers can avoid service disruptions by using GXG service, which is available online at www.usps.com and at thousands of participating retail locations throughout the U.S.  

Once Canada Post announces that they will resume operations, we will again begin accepting mail destined to Canada. Additional information and updates regarding acceptance and movement of international mail is available at http://www.usps.com/communications/news/serviceupdates.htm.
