The Model LCG3 standard "Smart Strip" with autoswitching technology features 10 outlets: 1 'control' outlet; 6 outlets that are switched on and off automatically by sensing current to the 'control' outlet; and 3 'constant hot' outlets that always receive power when the strip is on. Plug your computer CPU into the "control" outlet and all your computer peripherals (printer, monitor, speakers) into the "autoswitch" plugs, and when you turn off your CPU at the end of the workday (please say you do!), all your peripheral equipment will automatically turn off as well.
