It is that time of year again when picnics, receptions and banquets are held to celebrate the completion of the academic year, students’ accomplishments, and Commencement. Many times, such events take place off campus, at private homes, and other locations. If alcohol will be available for students in attendance, it is important to remember the responsibilities that are associated with such an event.

Japan Benefit Concert

The Society of Professional Journalists is putting on a relief concert due to the recent tragedies in Japan on Wednesday, April 13th at 7p.m. in Emerson Suites. The concert cost is $3 and proceeds will go to The Red Cross to aid Japan. Performances include IC Pulse, Red Cups, Mel Daneke, Casey Musarra, IC Ballroom, Cayuga Suite, Premium Blend, Itamar Gov-Ari, Maria Shishmanian and IC Voicestream. Come out and support an amazing cause while watching incredible student performances!   There will also be several organizations tabling fantastic items for even more relief support.   This is an event you cannot miss!

This summer, we've got outdoor movies! Every WEDNESDAY in JULY, as soon as the sun goes down (8:30pm), the Academic Quad will be the scene of frivolity and romance as we screen together our own outdoor film festival.

VOTE for the best movies to be watched on blankets in the grass. Win a booklet of ten FREE Regal movie tickets! The winner will be randomly selected from among participating voters on May 15, 2011 and notified via email. All current IC undergraduate students are eligible to win.
