Online time cards for pay period 01/17/11 through 01/30/11 are due this coming Friday 01/28/11 and will need to be approved no later than Monday 01/31/11 for the Feb. 4th payday. MLK Week 2011 is in full swing, and the events so far have been worthy of a big 'WOW'!  An incredible kickoff, music concert, social justice fair and workshops have already made this week very special.  But we're not done yet!

  • Listen and participate in a discussion with panelists from IC and Cornell, including Fr. Carsten Martensen, James Touchton, Stephen Hill, Chris Accardo, and Kenneth Clarke!  Wednesday night at 7pm in Textor 102.
  • Attend more workshops to learn about issues facing us today such as bullying and other urgent matters -- Thursday, 12-1pm.
  • Visit YouTube to witness these slam poets before Friday night's event: Simone Crew, Angel Nafis, and Janine Simon.  Plus Spit That! will perform, along with a SURPRISE guest.  It's going to be AMAZING!
  • Visit the MLK Week table in the Campus Center during the week (between 10am and 2pm) to learn about the Hands of Hope Project, and how you can contribute to the MLK Memorial in Washington, DC.

Severe winter weather throughout much of the United States has caused the cancellation of more than 14,000 blood and platelet donations since January 1.

 

To help make up this deficit, we ask all sponsors to bring in two more donors .All blood types are needed, but type O negative donors can make the difference between an adequate blood supply and a shortage.

Please call 1-800-RED CROSS to get an early appointment slot, before all the ealry appointment are gone . You can also stop by the table next week from 9 to 2 in Campus Center to make an appointment, or email Redcross@ithaca.edu to make an apppointment.

 Four spring presentations by H&S Predoctoral Diversity Fellows will center around ongoing,  cutting edge research.  Each fellow presented an overview of his or her dissertation research  in the fall; these presentations will focus on a specific contribution each the dissertation will  make to the respective field of the speaker.

The Summer Study Abroad sessions will give you a look at all of your options for an international experience over the summer.  The Options for Study Abroad at IC sessions give an overview of all of the study abroad options available to you as an IC student. The London Center sessions will give you a detailed glimpse of what a semester abroad in London is like. Come learn more about your study abroad options!
