Rock Hard Dance Company is holding a series of master classes, led by Associate Artistic Director, Laura Kathrein (’12). The next master class will be a modern dance class on Wednesday, November 17th. It will be held from 5:30-7:00pm in Studio 3, Dillingham Center.

If you wish to attend please email rockharddanceco@gmail.com to reserve your space. The class has a cap of 20 students and registration is filling up fast, so sign up now! There is a $3.00 fee. Dancers of any experience level are welcome to attend.

Gordon Rowland, professor in the Department of Strategic Communication, participated remotely as a panelist at the Association for Educational Communications and Technology annual conference of in Anaheim, CA. The panel was titled, "What do we make of design? Design as a concept in educational technology."  

He was also named a contributing editor to the development section of Educational Technology Research and Development, perhaps the oldest and most prestigious scholarly journal in the educational technology field.

Kathleen Mulligan, an assistant professor of theater arts who specializes in voice and speech, will lead workshops in voice and Shakespeare at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) on November 22nd and 23rd.

She will be assisted by IC theatre alum Christopher Patrick Hunter (2010), a NOCCA graduate.

This is Professor Mulligan's third consecutive yearly visit as a guest of NOCCA.

Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, all bi weekly NE staff and student time cards need to be submitted and approved by 5:00 PM Thursday Nov. 18th.  Checks will be dated and direct deposits will be made on Wednesday Nov. 24th. Thank you for your cooperation and enjoy your Holiday!

This years Phi Kappa Phi Fall Induction and Awards Ceremony will be held this Friday, November 19th at 4pm in the Klingenstein Lounge.  During the ceremony, two new faculty inductees, Harold Reynolds (Music) and Stephen Tropiano (Communications) will be honored, as well as the recipients of the prestigious Presidential Scholar Awards, awarded to four exceptional Ithaca College undergraduates.  This year, our Presidential Scholar award winners are Jill Neeley, Jacquelyn Simone, Allyce Barron, and Abigail Jamiel.  Everyone from the Ithaca College community is welcome to attend!
