Harry Potter Alliance Meeting!

The IC Harry Potter Alliance aims to help educate individuals on various social action and social justice-based initiatives by drawing links between the book series by J.K. Rowling and our world. Hillel and Colleges Against Cancer are sponsoring the annual Inch-a-Thon. Local barbers and stylists are cutting hair all day in the North Foyer.  If you donate 8 inches or more, the hair cut is free. If you cut less then 8 inches, the appointment only costs $10! All of the hair will be donated to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths in association with the American Cancer Society. The money from those that are not donating their hair is going to The Chai Lifeline, whose mission is to "find ways to bring joy to the lives of their young patients and their families through creative, innovative, and effective family-centered programs, activities, and services".

Siren Testing Scheduled

On the afternoon of Thursday, November 18, Ithaca College will conduct a test of the Outdoor Warning System. Between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m., at least one set of siren tones will be activated, followed by a loudspeaker message noting that this is only a test. The tones and message may be repeated, depending on the results of the testing. There is no need to take any action in response.

I apologize to those students who experienced difficulties using HomerConnect to register for classes this past week. The Office of the Registrar, in conjunction with Information Technology Services, is doing its best to resolve any issues and assist students who have encountered problems with registration.
