Rafferty on 11/02/10 Asma Barlas, professor of Politics and director of the Center for the Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity, was invited to give a talk on her work on Muslim women on October 30th as part of the celebration of Islamic History Month in Canada. The talk was organized by the Ottawa Muslim Women's Organization and held at the Public Library of Ottawa.
