Ithaca College is honored to welcome pianist Terry Waldo to campus for a three-day residency culminating in a public performance at 8pm on Tuesday, September 14th in the Hoerner Theatre in Dillingham Center. There is no charge for this performance and seating is by general admission.

The first Sustainability Café of the 2010-2011 season will be offered on Monday, September 13th at 4:00PM in the Ithaca College Center for Natural Sciences Room 112. Fernando de Aragón, director of the Ithaca-Tompkins County Transportation Council, will speak on "Environmental Opportunities in Transportation."  This event is free and open to the public. The Fall 2010 Sustainability Café series is held in conjunction with the Environmental Seminar.

This is a reminder that a test of the Ithaca College Emergency Notification System (ENS) will take place this Thursday, Sept. 9, during the noon hour. It will include a test of the Outdoor Warning System, which features a siren tone and a loudspeaker message. There is no need to take any action in response to the test.

Violinist Elena Urioste and pianist Michael Brown will give this year’s Louis K. Thaler Concert Violinist Series performance at Ithaca College on Friday, Sept. 10. The free concert will begin at 8:15 p.m. in Ford Hall in the James J. Whalen Center for Music. The program will include music of Janáček, Fauré, Beethoven and Hubay.
