 Ithaca College will be hosting a Dance Marathon to help raise funds and awareness for Camp Good Days and Special Times in February of 2011. This wonderful event will be held in the fitness center from 9pm February 12 through 9am February 13,2011.

The event will help Camp Good Days continue to reach out and help children living with serious medical issues (cancer, sickle cell anemia,hiv/aids) and those children impacted by these diseases come together for a residential camping experience over the summer months. Camp Good Days also serves adults living with cancer. Camp Good Days is a non-for profit agency that  has served thousands of children for New York State for 30 years!

Coordinator Jessie Kanowitz (LRS Student) and Instructor Joanie Groome (LRS, Health Promotion) are looking for individuals interested in joining the "Dance Marathon Development Committee". We will be meeting the first week in September to get the ball rolling!

 Will Crisp is Moving On

 We wish to share that after 14 years of outstanding and dedicated service Will Crisp is moving on to a new career. Over the next year Will is enrolled in a three semester program at Mohawk Valley Community College to obtain an Airframe and Powerplant certification as he pursues a new career working on helicopters.

Indoor Pool Closed

Due to high chlorine levels, the Indoor Pool will be closed until further notice.

Come to the Center for Educational Technology in Job 102 for coffee, tea, and cookies and to work on your Blackboard course site.  Staff will be available to answer any questions about Blackboard or other course technologies.

HR Annual Office Advance

On Friday, August 13, 2010, the Office of Human Resources will be off-campus at an all-day strategic planning session.  There will be limited contact with members of the office; however, front desk support will be available to answer questions.  If an ICHR member is needed for time sensitive matters, please contact Tanisha Graves at 607-379-0804.  We will resume regular operations on Monday at 8:30 am.

Notes on Liberty, a documentary directed by assistant professor John Scott (TV-R) and produced by assistant professor Karen Rodriguez (CPMA), was selected as one of thirty documentaries for the 2010 American Documentary Showcase. Rodriguez will travel to Poland, where the film will screen in Krakow on August 17 and in Wroclaw on August 19.
