Houck, Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the Rochester Center were awarded a R03 grant from the National Institutes of Health for their project entitled, "Prognostic factors that predict functional outcome after hip fracture". The goal of this two year study is to use clinical and biomechanical variables to identify which patients following hip fracture will benefit from restorative care to improve function and reduce falls risk.
