Open to all majors, we will learn how to come up with ideas and create stories for our new television program—“IC Studio; Changing our world, one story at a time). Whether you are interested in comedy, drama, documentary or news, IC Studio is an opportunity to learn how Hollywood works (and sometimes doesn't work) and turn your ideas in to producible stories.

The effect of exercise and physical activity on sensory, motor, and cognitive functioning in old age has been the primary research focus of the fall 2009 Gerontology Institute distinguished speaker, Wojtek Chodzko-Zajko, Ph.D.

On Thursday, October 29, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. in Emerson Suites, Phillips Hall, Chodzko-Zajko will present a lecture titled "Physical Activity and Successful Aging." This lecture is free and open to the public. There will be a reception after the presentation.

A 6 vs 6 Dodgeball tournament for Susan G. Komen Foundation, will be held October 11th, 2009. The tournament will take place in the IC Fitness Center in the Blue Gym, beginning at 2 pm. Pre-register your team by e-mailing your team name and roster to: cmohn1@ithaca.edu.

Visit the Dodgeball table in Campus Center on Thursday October 8th between 9 -2 pm for more information.
