 IC SafeWater will be holding a semester-long can and bottle drive to raise money for water sanitation systems in developing countries and villages in Africa.  You can help us out by donating any cans or bottles you have in your dorm, apartment, or house.  Since it is unenjoyable and inconvenient to bring all of your recyclables to campus, we make it easier by picking them up for you, trash bags provided!

The inaugural Peggy R. Williams Difficult Dialogues Symposium will be held on Wednesday, October 7, at 8:00 p.m. in Emerson Suites, Phillips Hall. The program will feature Marc Ellis, director of the Center for Jewish Studies at Baylor University, and Sanford Gutman, professor emeritus of history at SUNY Cortland. A live town-hall style panel discussing the documentary “U People” live from the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, Tennessee will be simulcast via the Internet on Saturday October 3, beginning at 10 p.m.; the Ithaca College Center for LGBT Education, Outreach and Services has set up a website at which viewers can access the free screening.  Viewers can also tweet their questions to the panel during the event.
