"Submerged Ghosts," a new work by Raymond Ghirardo (Art) and Megan Roberts (TV-R), is currently on exhibition at Squeaky Wheel's new exhibition space in Buffalo until October 9, 2009. 

"Submerged Ghosts," is a new three channel projected video and sound installation.  Images of walking shadows are projected into pools of water that are reflected on the opposite wall.  Castings of salt faces submerged in the pools melt and create disturbances in the ghostly reflections.  The work grew from a body of of artwork addressing  natural and manipulated landscapes and the associated personal histories.

The Department of Biology offers a seminar series each semester representing a broad range of topics in biology. These seminars are open to the entire community. Refreshments are offered prior to the seminar and students are invited to meet with the speaker in a small group following the talk to answer questions related to the topic presented, or to answer questions regarding possible careers in biology.
