The Department of Writing is pleased to announce the 2009 Writing Contest, open to any currently enrolled Ithaca College student. We will award prizes to the contest winners and publish the winning entries in a small volume and online.

Hosts needed! We are looking for families to host Princeton High School students who will be in town March 26-28 for the Gospel Festival. The Ithaca High School Choir has agreed to house the P.H.S. Women's Vocal Ensemble, but they still need more hosts and time is growing short!

Ithacan Wins Top CSPA Honors

The Ithacan Online, the website of the Ithacan, has been awarded a 2009 Gold Crown Award for overall excellence, and the Ithacan newspaper has been awarded the Silver Crown Award for overall excellence, by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.

The Ithacan was the only student weekly in the country to win either award.
