This is to remind the campus community that credit cards issued by GE Capital Payment Services will become inactive January 30, 2009. The new JPMorgan Chase cards were distributed to central administrative offices around January 15, 2009. As with GE Capital Payment Services, there are two separate cards for travel and procurement.

Andy Smith presented a talk in the symposium, "Biomaterials: Properties, Variation, and Evolution," at the annual conference of the Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology, held in Boston this month. Smith is an associate professor in the Department of Biology.

The talk was titled "Multiple Cross-Linking Mechanisms in Molluscan Adhesive Gels" and was coauthored by two IC students, Sarah Garcia and Aaron Bloom.
