The SGA will be hosting a live screening of the Cortaca game, scheduled to take place Saturday, November 15th, at noon. The event, which will be held in IC Square, will feature free pizza and wings, a raffle, and a large projection screen airing the game.

"Achieving Carbon Neutrality: It Is Our Choices That Show What We Truly Are, Far More Than Our Abilities"


Ithaca College has signed the American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment (ACUPCC), a pledge to produce a plan by September 2009 for the campus to go "carbon neutral" by completely mitigating our greenhouse gas emissions.

Signed by 582 colleges and universities across the country, the pledge commits us to model ways to eliminate global warming emissions and provide the knowledge and the educated graduates to achieve climate neutrality.

The African-Latino Society invites you to join us in our annual celebration of Hip-Hop History Month. This year we are focusing on the State of Hip Hop: The Past, Present, and Future.

This event will be educational as well as entertaining. We plan to discuss the goals originally set by Hip-Hop pioneers when Hip-Hop first began. We will examine whether these goals are presently met. At the end of this event, the audience will leave knowing that Hip-Hop is not just about fresh beats and mind-boggling rhymes, it is a movement about FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION!

Writing Department Open House

The women's soccer team has qualified for the NCAA playoffs and will host a four-team regional this weekend. The Bombers take on Westfield State Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in one semifinal with Rochester playing Roger Williams at 1:30 p.m. in the other. Sunday's final is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. with all three games at Carp Wood Field.

The regional winner will advance to the NCAA sectionals November 22-23.

Looking for a one-time job? Good with video production? IC Unbound is looking for someone to produce DVD'd of the Fall 2008 show. We will provide DVD's and jewel cases for the order, as well as tapes of the show. The show must be chaptered by dance and copied to about 50 DVD's by December 1st, 2008.
