On Friday evening, an Ithaca College student reported a suspicious individual walking near the Upper Quad residence halls. Public Safety responded and conducted a thorough interior and exterior search of the immediate and surrounding areas with the assistance of other local law enforcement agencies.

While the investigation is continuing and the Public Safety patrol presence is increased for Friday night, there is not believed to be any threat to the campus community.

Drop-in Skills Groups at CAPS

For the past two years, CAPS has been offering Skills Groups to help students better cope with anxiety, regulate moods, learn more effective communication skills, and build healthier relationships.

Starting this fall, our Skills Groups will be offered in a drop-in format, meaning that no appointment is required to attend, and you do not have to be a CAPS client.
