On Tuesday, October 30th, at Noon to 12:45 pm, we will host a Lunch and Learn session that will focus on the High Deductible Health Plan and its Health Savings Account (HSA). If you are considering electing the HDHP, are just curious, or are currently enrolled in the plan and have questions please join us!

The Lunch and Learn presentation will take place in the HR Conference Room located in the Administration Annex. Pre-registration is encouraged, but not required. To register or for more information, please contact the Office of Human Resources at extension 4-3245 or benefits@ithaca.edu.

Snacks and drinks will be provided, but feel free to bring your own lunch.

All Saints' Day

Thursday, November 1, is the Solemnity of All Saints. For Catholics, All Saints' Day is a "holy day of obligation." This Thursday, Catholics are obliged to join in the celebration of the Eucharist.

Mass will be celebrated at Ithaca College on Thursday at 12:10 p.m. in the sanctuary of Muller Chapel. The Fireside Mass will be celebrated at 8:00 p.m. in the entrance lounge of Muller Chapel.

Thomas Shevory, professor of politics, and Patricia Zimmermann, professor of cinema, photography, and media arts, were invited speakers at the National Alliance for Media Arts and Culture conference in Austin, Texas, on October 20, 2007. Shevory and Zimmermman are codirectors of the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival (FLEFF).
