The annual "Take It or Leave It" program -- TIOLI, for short -- is a terrific solid waste diversion program and an effective fundraiser. At the end of each academic year, students and staff in the Resource and Environmental Management Program (REMP) and members of the Ithaca College Environmental Society (ICES) team up to place collection bins into lounges in each residence hall, in the laundry room in the Garden Apartments, and in the community building at College Circles.
Pam Gordon Singer ’84 likes to remind her husband, Rob ’83, that he acquired two of the greatest gifts of his life at Ithaca College—his wife and his education. Rob and Pam have pledged to create a $25,000 endowed scholarship that will be awarded to business and Park students with financial need. 
The Sustainability Cafe series will kick off its fall 2007 season of educational programming with a presentation by Peter Smallidge, titled "Putting Forest Science into Forest Practice." This Sustainability Cafe will be held this Monday, September 17, in Friends Hall 201 at 4:00 p.m., in conjunction with the Environmental Seminar. "Teachable edibles" will be offered.
