Brockport, N.Y. -- The gymnastics team placed second of eight schools at the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA). Ithaca's score of 183.8 put the Bombers 2.45 points behind Wisconsin-La Crosse, which won its sixth straight team title. Junior Kelly Stevison earned all-America honors in the all-around, placing seventh with a score of 36.9, and the vault, placing third with a final score of 19.3.

In celebration of the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival's new institutional location at Ithaca College, The Onward Project presents Trafficking in the Archives: Cinemascapes, Soundscapes, and Mindscapes beyond Corporate Control, featuring live rock music by Mary Lorson, Billy Cote and Piano Creeps with archival film on Monday, March 27, at 8:30 p.m. in Park Auditorium. The performance is free and open to the public.

SGA Elections Kick-Off Party

Come meet and support your future SGA and Senior Class Representatives at the SGA Elections Kick-Off event this Tuesday (March 28), from 6 pm to 8 pm in the IC Square!

You'll be able to see the candidates table in the North Foyer from April 3rd to April 7th.

The ONLINE VOTE will take place from April 10th to 12th. There is room for write-in candidates!!

The next "Out of the Closet and Onto the Screen" event will take place on Saturday, April 1, with a day-long film festival featuring the most popular offerings from the Out of the Closet series. The films to be screened were chosen by an online campus poll. This will serve as a "second chance" screening for those films you may have missed, or another opportunity to see all your favorites on the big screen.

Paul Geisler, athletic training, presents a Scholarly Colloquium on Thursday, March 30, from 12:10 to 1:00 p.m. in the Clark Lounge of the Campus Center. The presentation and discussion draw from his forthcoming book, Higher Education at a Crossroads, which integrates curriculum theory and cultural studies with postmodern and poststructural theories. “Know Occupation: Israel/Palestine” week will begin with an art exhibition of political cartoons by an Israeli and a Palestinian artist on the Ithaca Commons on Sunday, March 26, and will continue with a series of films and speakers at Ithaca College about the consequences of military occupation for Israelis and Palestinians. The “Know Occupation” events, which have been organized the IC Students for a Just Peace, are free and open to the public.
