Calling all soccer players and video gamers! Registration deadlines for Co-Rec indoor soccer and our XBox tournament are next Friday, February 10th at 5pm. Get a group of friends together for an indoor soccer team or sign up for our Halo 2 or Madden XBox tournaments. Simon Deng, a former Sudanese child slave, will be speaking at Ithaca College on February 7 at 7:00 p.m. in Emerson Suite C. He will offer a first-hand narrative of slavery in the 20th and 21st centuries.

"The Face of Madagascar," a collection of more than 50 photographs taken by Janice Levy over a ten-year period on the island nation of Madagascar, is now on display for Black History Month at the Museum of Antigua and Barbuda. The show runs through March 12, 2006.

Levy, associate professor of photography in the Cinema and Photography Department in the Park School, has been in Madagascar six times between 1992 and 2001. Her work has been exhibited internationally and has been published widely in textbooks and magazines. She has taught photography at Ithaca College since 1987.

The Wellness Clinic's stress reduction program will be a 4-class series meeting Wednesdays from 4:15 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., February 8, 15, 22, and March 1.

Learn and practice some simple tools for gaining greater awareness and ease through mindfulness. We will use meditation, body scans, and gentle yoga to access our internal resources and break the stress cycle. This class is open to all faculty and staff across campus (and is not limited to Wellness Clinic members).
