The Romantics feature two of Ithaca’s sweetest voices, Jan Nigro and Alice Saltonstall, singing jazz standards backed by a boppin’ quartet, Ira Kamp on guitar, Dana Paul on bass, Fred Schwartz on piano and Ken Zeserson on saxophones.

If it makes you dance or cry, the Romantics probably sing it!

Native American Celebration Month kicks off Wednesday, Nov. 2 with the Haudenosaunee Singers and Dancers at 7:00 p.m. in Emerson Suites. You can learn about local Native cultures and participate in the dances too. The month continues with Native storytelling on Nov. 8 and a visit from award winning filmmaker Fidel Moreno on Nov. 15.

Careers in Sport Symposium
