On Thursday, April 14, the School of Business is proud to sponsor a panel discussion with alumnus Lee Bird '86, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Gap North America and Bob Reynolds, vice chairman and chief operating officer of Fidelity Investments. Each will present his take on risk and rewards in the corporate world, after which Dean Engelkemeyer will moderate an open question and answer period. Seven students are presenting work at the Conference for Undergraduate Research in Communication at Rochester Institute of Technology on April 6.

Their presentations are based on classwork from Dr. Christine Iacobucci's
Research and Evaluation class this fall.

Assistant Professor Tom Nicholson of the Television-Radio department is
working on a two hour documentary exploring the California Gold Rush for
the PBS series. Nicholson has been hired as an editorial consultant,
working with Director Randall MacLowry on script development and editing,
and was the location sound recordist on a recent shoot in Mystic,
Connecticut. The show will air in Spring 2006.

Following a design competition to create a facility that will nurture the business leaders of tomorrow in a globally unique learning environment, Ithaca College has selected the firm of Robert A. M. Stern Architects to design a new home for the School of Business. The firm was chosen from among three finalists by the Ithaca College Board of Trustees, based on a recommendation from a committee comprising faculty, students, and administrators.
