The sale of Fountain Place and the adjacent 2 Willets Place to Ashleigh and Ryan Zimmerman was completed on Tuesday, March 12. Ashleigh is a 1999 Ithaca College graduate and Ryan is a 1997 Cornell University graduate, and the couple plan to turn the properties into an owner-occupied bed and breakfast. Read more . . . Over the past 3 years, the team has also competed regularly at the Cornell International Affairs Conference, the Harvard National Model UN Conference, and the Five College Model UN, Mount Holyoke. Collectively, they have won a remarkable list of top honors including Best Overall Delegation, Best Delegation and Outstanding Delegation. In six recent competitions, team members won at least 12 Best Delegate Awards, 8 Diplomatic Recognition, Honorable Mention and Verbal Commendation Awards, and 9 Outstanding Delegate awards. Kudos! (141 words) Voicemail System Outage, Thursday, March 14th, 3-7 AMContributed by Karen Compton on 03/12/19 On Thursday, March 14th, from 3-7 AM, the voicemail system will be down for additional maintenance, as the work done this past Monday was not able to be fully completed. Users and callers will not have access to the voicemail system during the outage; voicemail messages can neither be retrieved nor recorded. Callers will hear a recorded message telling them to call back after the end of the maintenance window (7 AM). This will not impact telephone dial tone or general telephone use. The campus Emergency Notification System will continue to function during the voicemail outage. Information Technology Service Desk Plowbreak Farm, owned and operated by Kara Cusolito '08 and Aaron Munzer '08, will again be offering locally grown vegetable CSA shares to the Ithaca College community, with a convenient pick-up site at the Peggy R. Williams Center on Wednesdays, and a downtown pickup on Thursdays at the Westy, a local beer garden. The farm is located in Hector, about twenty miles from the college, and grows six acres of produce in fields and greenhouses that overlook Seneca Lake. Read more . . .
