Neapolitan in IC Square will be CLOSED on Thursday, January 10thdue to the Shelter-in-Place Drill that will take place in Campus Center and Phillips Hall.

The Café at Park School will be open from 8:00AM - 12:00 Noon, serving coffee and pastries.

The Campus Center, Fitness Center and Gannett Center will be closed from 6 a.m. until noon on Thursday, Jan. 10, as the college conducts a shelter-in-place drill in those three buildings. As a result, the Cafe at Park School will be the only food service/café operation open on campus that morning. Signage about the closures will be placed at each building entrance.

The Instructional Media Lab (IML) will be open Winter Break for instructional tool support. The IML is your one-stop-shop for media production services as well as support for the core instructional tools including Sakai, Voicethread, Top Hat, Zoom, and the Media Gallery (via Kaltura).

Faculty and Students Submit Your Presentation for the Whalen Academic Symposium!

The online submission process for faculty sponsors/students to submit student presentations for the 22nd Annual James J. Whalen Symposium will close on March 4, 2019.  Submissions will be accepted for presentations, performances, and displays.

Policy Change for Paid Time Away

Ithaca College will institute an effective/operational change in how paid time away (PTA) is accrued.  Beginning June 1, 2020, accruals for vacation, sick time, and personal time will take place per pay period throughout the fiscal year, instead of being front-loaded at the beginning of the year. This accrual method is similar to the process that the College used prior to 2010 and is the norm for higher education institutions.  The actual amount of annual vacation, sick, and personal time will not be reduced for eligible employees.
