(115 words) I am pleased to announce that Christina Moylan has been appointed Associate Dean in the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance, effective July 2, 2018. She replaces Dr. Helene Larin, who is retiring from Ithaca College in August. Dr. Moylan started at Ithaca College as Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the HSHP PreProfessional Program in 2015. She continued the great tradition of providing outstanding programming and advising to our preprofessional students as they navigated their way into majors in HSHP and beyond. Dr. Moylan received her PhD from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Public Health Policy in 2010. Please join me in welcoming Dr. Moylan into her new role.

All remaining Windows devices must be upgraded prior to June 3, 2018 or they will be removed from the network and unable to access any institutional data, assets, or services including email. To assist with this effort, IT has provided a self-service option that allows you to perform the upgrade at your convenience. Please follow the instructions here to do so. You will have until May 31st to take advantage of the self-service option to upgrade your PC to Windows 10 when it is convenient for you. If our records indicate you are the custodian of a PC pending the upgrade, you will receive an email with all related asset tags that need to be upgraded. Read more . . . During this period, full-time employees will work two fewer hours (37-1/2 hours reduced to 35-1/2, 40 hours reduced to 38 hours) and receive their usual compensation. Ithaca College’s official business hours will end at 3:00 p.m. on Fridays instead of 5:00 p.m. This year, there will be 12 Fridays on which the official hours will be reduced by two hours. Please remember the Summer Hours benefit may not be combined with PTA. The Summer Hours policy applies to all full-time, benefits-eligible staff.
