Part Time Job for Gerontology , Music, or Speech Pathology Students

Oak Hill  Manor Nursing Home in Ithaca has a part time position available in the Recreation Dept.

 

20 hrs. or less per week

Evenings, weekends or day shift.

Gerontology , Music, HSHP, Theatre students (or any other students who feel an inner calling to work with the elderly) are welcome to apply

The Annual Convention of the Society of Personality and Social Psychology took place February 28 - March 3, 2018, in Atlanta, GA. At this convention, Associate Professor Leigh Ann Vaughn presented in a professional development workshop on “Modest Coffers, Meaningful Contributions” and presented a poster session about linguistic contents of goals.

Professor Mirskin is teaching a terrific course starting after spring break looking at how social conflict is represented in film. This course is offered in connection with the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival. Students will meet in class and attend at least two films downtown at Cinemapolis during the Festival. 

Interested students should sign up on Homer for:     FLEFF: Subduction Zones: How underlying conditions lead to social conflict as represented in contemporary film - 43332 - GCOM 10105 - 01. The course meets on Wednesdays, March 21-April 18th from 6-8:30 PM. The course description is below.

How: Go to the lobby in your FYRE building at 6:45p on Wednesday, March 21st to head towards the Terraces together. All Terrace tours leave from the Terrace 7 area office between 7:00p and 8:30p. Due to lack of student interest, Residential Life and the Modern Languages departments are putting La Casa on hold for the 2018-2019 academic year. We hope to reopen the community for 2019-2020!
