An Ithaca College alumna has created a $500,000 endowment fund that will be used to attract visiting theatre artists, managers, and designers to teach in the Theatre Arts Department.

Overload stipends are available for faculty to teach 1 credit block II mini courses for the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival.   Courses explore sustainability related topics and students attend FLEFF films and events. FLEFF will run from April 9 - April 15th, 2018. The theme for this year’s Festival is Geographies. More information about FLEFF is available at www.ithaca.edu/fleff.

Associate Professor of Media Arts, Sciences, and Studies Joshua Bonnetta’s newest film El Mar La Mar is receiving critical acclaim and screening in international venues.  Made in collaboration with anthropologist/filmmaker J.P. Sniadecki from Northwestern University, this film was screened in August as part of the symposium "Welcome to the Anthropocene" in Antaliepte, Lithuania. During the symposium Bonnetta was part of a panel on Cinema After Nature and gave a lecture and workshop to Lithuanian filmmakers and students.
